Employment::
Two choices on how to add Employee: (Note: Your must have Job description set first under setting:: go to Setting ->Human Resources -> Recruitment->Create Job Description)
1st Option: Quick Add (This assumes you have a paper application that meets your companies policies and regulation) click on the “Add New Employee” and fill the few fields. Employee will receive a link to activate their email and set a new password. **Upload Completed Paper Job Application” under Document tab then other Documents in new employee profile.
2nd Option: Create a complete job application: After you have created a job description, make the job available for others to apply. to do that go to:
Human resources -> recruitment – > Job Openings – Click on
Don’t for get to SET Closes on(optional) (Default:30 days from now). If this is on going, then set it to a long time.
Now that you have a job opening, Have employee create an account in your agency’s login page.
After you have successfully created a user name and password, you will need to confirm your email and set password. Then comeback to the login page, login in again and you should see the job opening lists you can apply for in your agency portal.
Softiya – Home Care Software Job application is complete. You can choose to skip the steps it will allow you to skip but its not recommended. We only added what is required and recommended and standard for the industry.
The human resources portal or Career Portal offers
To apply for the job, as mentioned above, first you will need to have access to the Career Portal. If there are jobs visible to apply proceed or reach-out to your hiring manager and inform them that they need to post the job.
The job application itself has several sections:
Complete all sections that is relevant.
Education
Employment History
References
Documents (Upload Resume and Cover letter)
Submit the application and wait for the hiring manager to set interview date if you are selected or an email if you are not.

You have your new employee who have just accepted your job offer and signed your job description, job acceptance and job offer but before you assign them to that client, make sure you complete the onboarding process which includes

The Items in the background checks can be configured in softiya setting section. You can Add or remove items but you should know what the state you are licensing requires and make sure to add those items first. The system allows you to skip the background check items but keep in mind they will be pending under the employee file under background tap.
The Orientation items can be configured in the settings of Softiya and assigned to a Job. Anyone who applies for that Job, will be presented with that Job’s orientation items. Applicants, after their employment status have changed to “Hired”, will be able to access this onboarding items in their career portal dashboard or field-staff portal under “Learning Center”
